
David joined the Firm in 2018 in the area of Litigation, Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial Law, Land Use, and Appellate Practice and brings 20+ years of experience to GCGH. David’s practice includes representation of a wide range of clients, including large institutional lenders, major developers of mixed use and multifamily properties, large and small commercial landlords and tenants, utility companies, individual homeowners, some of the most prestigious Realtors in Connecticut, and various other entities engaging in both simple and complex real estate and construction transactions. David is also adept at handling both the transactional and the litigation side of cases. David has argued in the Superior Court and Appellate Courts in Connecticut as well as the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
David has written and lectured on legal topics relating primarily to residential and commercial real estate matters, land use and title issues, as well as foreclosure and finance. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association.
Born in Oakville, Ontario (Canada), David earned his Juris Doctorate in 1998 from Quinnipiac University and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University in Montreal (Canada). He is one of the few real estate attorneys in the State approved to close residential loans for the vast majority of banks and Credit Unions. In addition to his individual clients, he also works with commercial developers on both housing and commercial projects.
